Firefly-Watching Season in GuanZiLing, Tainan — Witness a “Blue Starry Sky” Woven by Tiny Lights

Besides flower viewing, Taiwan has also entered firefly-watching season. The Nanhao Liao rural area in GuanZiLing, Tainan, located within the Siraya National Scenic Area, has launched a firefly-watching event starting today, allowing the public to witness the beautiful sight of fireflies dancing among the trees with their tiny glowing lights.
The Siraya National Scenic Area announced that the Nanhao Liao rural area’s firefly-watching event will run from April 3 to May 31. There will be two sessions per day every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with a total of 50 spots available. The registration fee is NT$100 per person, and participants must register with the Nanhao Liao Rural Cultural Industry Association at least two days before attending.
