Japan’s Largest – Ichiran Opens a Five-Story Ramen Restaurant in Dotonbori

The highly popular Ichiran Ramen among Taiwanese will open its largest branch in Japan, “Dotonbori Yatai-kan,” in Osaka. The entire five-story building is dedicated to Ichiran: the first floor sells souvenirs, while the second to fourth floors are seating areas, totaling 172 seats.“Dotonbori Yatai-kan” is scheduled to open at 11:00 AM on April 16.

Originating from Kyushu, Ichiran Ramen is favored by many Taiwanese for its lighter taste and customizable options, making it a must-visit spot for ramen enthusiasts. To allow more food lovers to enjoy their ramen, Ichiran has opened its largest branch in Japan, “Dotonbori Yatai-kan” in Osaka. The first floor offers souvenir shopping, while the second and third floors feature the familiar individual seating booths. The fourth and fifth floors are yatai-style (Note: yatai refers to Japanese street food stall-style) communal dining areas where you can enjoy ramen with friends.The individual seating area has 60 seats, while the yatai area has 112 seats, totaling 172 seats.There are two types of dining areas, and the ramen ticket vending machines differ, so be sure to check before purchasing your ticket.
