Yilan’s Dongshan River Forest Park will be renamedDongshan River Eco Green Boat, featuring terraced fields, vegetable gardens, wetlands, and woodlands, offering a miniature version of Yilan. From May 1 to June 30, guided tours will be available Tuesday through Saturday, with one session in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each tour lasts 90 minutes. Group tours for adults are offered, and online registration begins at 9:00 AM on April 20.

Dongshan River Forest Park holds childhood memories for many. In the future, visitors can overlook surrounding mountain views, farmland, and riverside scenery, admire trains speeding across the iron bridge, touch the earth through rural experiences, take boat rides to explore the natural ecology along the Dongshan River, or even combine different modes of transport such as bicycles, buses, and boats to reach old streets, temples, community settlements, and orchards.

The guided tours are open to adult groups aged 18 and above, school teachers, college and university students and faculty, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises and community partners forming groups.
