Guam International Music Festival to Rock on June 5 & 6

The 2nd Guam International Music Festival will kick off with high energy on June 5 & 6. Following the earlier announcement of American singer Nick Jonas as the first confirmed artist, the Guam Visitors Bureau has now revealed the second wave of international acts — Japan’s top boy band w-inds and Japanese hip-hop group Home Made Kazoku will also perform in Guam.

Since 2002, w-inds has topped the Oricon charts in Japan 33 times, won numerous awards, and set a remarkable record of holding over 480 tour concerts, with the support of more than 1.5 million fans. Additionally, Japanese trio hip-hop group HOME MADE KAZOKU, who were invited to the first Guam International Music Festival last year, have decided to return as performers this year.

Nelson Duenas, Director of the Guam Visitors Bureau, said, “The diverse lineup of the international music festival will appeal to various groups of tourists and residents of Guam alike. The event features a variety of musical styles including pop, rock, hip-hop, and tropical island sounds, bringing together renowned artists from different countries for this world-class musical exchange.”
