1. Tokyo Kasai Rinkai Park: Diamond and Flower Ferris Wheel
The Diamond and Flower Ferris Wheel is Japan’s tallest Ferris wheel, famous for its light show that “projects images of diamonds and flowers,” and stands 384 feet high. On a clear day, you can enjoy views of Disneyland, Tokyo Bay, Chiba Prefecture, and the Boso Peninsula from high above.

Japan’s second tallest Ferris wheel, reaching 377 feet, offers stunning views of Tokyo Bay from the very top — and its nighttime light show is not to be missed.

3. Yokohama Ferris Wheel: Cosmo Clock 21

7. Osaka: Techno Ferris Wheel
This Ferris wheel, originally named Techno, was built inside Ibaraki Prefecture’s World Trade Center 85 but was later relocated to Osaka and renamed Technostar. Each gondola is equipped with solar panels that generate energy for the air conditioning. This combined amusement park and shopping complex is set to open in July 2015.
