China Airlines launches direct Hong Kong–Taitung charter flights!

To expand the market for direct Hong Kong–Taitung passenger flights, China Airlines has confirmed the operation of 19 direct charter flights between Hong Kong and Taitung from June 27 to August 29 during the summer vacation period. Travelers from Hong Kong or mainland China can fly directly to Taitung to enjoy the beautiful mountains and waters of eastern Taiwan and experience Taitung’s renowned hot air balloon events.

In addition to the direct charter flights, Taitung County Government’s Tourism and Travel Division has also launched the “Travel Taitung Now” travel agency incentive competition, with the first prize winner receiving nearly NT$200,000 in prize money. For travelers, there are special offers such as “Charter Flight Goodies – Chihshang Rice Personal Pack, Taitung Goodies Discount Handbook, Iron Flower Music Village Admission Tickets, Limited Edition Exquisite Hot Air Balloon Badge Memorial Set,” and “Couple Enjoyment Discounts” to attract more visitors to Taitung. Passengers on the inaugural flight on June 27 will also receive VIP seating privileges for the Hot Air Balloon Light and Music Show.
