The iconic Totoro bus stop sign from the famous Studio Ghibli film has appeared at the Wutie Akihabara Plaza. With a backdrop of greenery and the sign for “Inari-mae,” it’s as if you’ve stepped right into the movie world — it's quite fun indeed！

It’s understood that this Totoro bus stop sign at Taipei Main Station was actually created as part of the promotion for the upcoming Studio Ghibli store, “Acorn Republic Xinyi Branch.” The real Totoro character will also make an appearance at the bus stop for photo opportunities with the public. The Studio Ghibli store, which is very popular with fans in Hong Kong, will open its first store in Taiwan in Taipei’s Xinyi District, and is expected to launch before summer vacation. The organizers are also running an online campaign where visitors can take photos on-site to enter a draw for early access entry tickets and character-themed lucky bags before the store officially opens.
