Target: 220 meters！Far East Hotel challenges Guinness World Record for "Longest Swiss Roll" on May 7

The Shangri-La’s Far Eastern International Hotel Taipei has completed a two-year renovation project, which was officially finished in April to mark its 20th anniversary. To celebrate this significant milestone, the Far East Hotel will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the "Longest Swiss Roll" at 10:00 AM on May 7 in the fountain atrium plaza of the Far Eastern Plaza. The goal is to create a 220-meter-long raspberry taro pineapple swiss roll on-site.

For this challenge, the Far East Hotel’s chefs have prepared approximately 186 kilograms of taro cream and raspberry jam, 164 kilograms of No. 17 pineapples, around 20 kilograms of chocolate, 95 kilograms of eggs, 47.5 kilograms of sugar, and 38 kilograms of flour. The completed swiss roll will be auctioned off for charity, with each slice priced at NT$80 and each box at NT$960. The net proceeds will be donated to SOS Children’s Villages Taiwan to support children in completing their education and growing up happily.
