The Cassia season has arrived！ A romantic golden rain showers the streets of Kaohsiung

The annual vibrant Cassia season kicks off the romantic summer in Kaohsiung！ Stroll along the streets of Kaohsiung, where clusters of golden, bell-like blossoms bloom brilliantly, as if a dazzling golden rain is falling.

Native to Southeast and South Asia, the Cassia tree from the Fabaceae family has been widely planted in Taiwan as a roadside and park ornamental tree. In late spring to early summer, its leaves gradually unfurl, and bright yellow flowers burst into bloom. When the breeze blows and petals drift down, it looks like a brilliant golden rain shower.

To soak in the romantic ambiance, several areas around Kaohsiung are currently aglow in golden hues. These include roads near the Kaohsiung Cultural Center, Guanghua Road and Pinghe Road (from Sanchong Road to Wufu Road), Nanjing Road, Zhongshan Third Road (from Xinguang Road to Guanghua Road), Jiouru 4th Road (from Zuoying Circle to Qinghai Bridge), Kaohsiung University Road, Yuanzhong Road, and Cuihua Road.
