The Anping District Office of Tainan City hosts guided mini tours to explore the Sword Lions every Saturday and Sunday in June, inviting the public to discover the area's unique local culture and take a leisurely stroll together. The “2015 Cultural Life Circle—Sword Lion Mini Tour” centers around the Anping Local Culture Museum, combining Tainan’s unique Sword Lion imagery and routes that showcase the area’s cultural and historical stories to highlight the beauty of Anping. Led by professional guides, the tour takes you through hidden cultural spots, allowing you to stroll through Anping’s alleys and enjoy a laid-back atmosphere, along with receiving a free Sword Lion postcard as a souvenir.

The final stop of the Sword Lion Mini Tour is the Anping Local Culture Museum to view the “Woodcarving Splendor—Sword Lion Imagery” special exhibition, curated by Teacher Chen Jianzhi, a disciple of woodcarving master Chen Zhengxiong for many years. Using three-dimensional carving techniques, the exhibit showcases vivid Sword Lions that break away from traditional impressions and present a more artistic perspective. Visitors can also try their hand at DIY painting water-absorbing cup mats featuring Sword Lion designs to commemorate the trip.
