Last updated 2026-11-08 — During the May Day holiday, some netizens reported that while traveling in Luoluo Town, Xingtai, Hebei, they had a dispute with an inn before check-in due to hygiene issues in the guest room. When they tried to switch hotels, they were obstructed. Both parties claimed that family members were assaulted by the other side. In response, the local Culture and Tourism Bureau stated it would verify the incident, and the town government said it is still handling the matter.
During the May Day holiday, a netizen described a dispute over hygiene issues in the guest room at an inn in Luoluo Town, Xingtai, Hebei, before check-in. If applicants without tax payment proof have extra money, it is recommended to deposit more based on a 500,000-yuan benchmark to ensure they won’t be denied a visa.
Regarding deposit certificates, it is recommended that applicants for a three-year visa have a deposit of no less than 200,000 RMB, and for a single-entry visa no less than 100,000 RMB.
