On April 20, two new imported cases were reported—both women in their 20s who had studied in the United States and Canada respectively, and had traveled to Spain. They tested positive after returning to Taiwan.

As for the much-concerned Dunmu Fleet situation, an active epidemiological investigation is underway, and over 210,000 text messages have been sent based on the relevant footprints.

All 24 confirmed military ship personnel are members of the Pan Shi Fleet, with a median age of 27—22 males and 2 females. Among them, there are 17 naval officers, 6 students from the Political Warfare Academy, and 1 student from the Naval Academy. The earliest onset was on April 1, with most cases occurring between April 11 and 14. Seven are asymptomatic, nine have coughs, nine have abnormal sense of smell, seven have taste disorders, three have fevers, three have headaches, three have diarrhea, and various symptoms such as fatigue, runny nose, and more. Currently, all military personnel are quarantined in designated facilities. It is inferred that this cluster infection has entered its second wave, and all close contacts are under quarantine, while the sources of infection among asymptomatic individuals are also being investigated.

The focus at this stage is on the 700 officers' contacts outside the ship, whose footprints are still under detailed investigation. There are also questions about whether some officers had already left the ship on leave on April 15, which requires enhanced tracking and screening of movements and contact history. Serum tests are being conducted for all three fleets.
