The nostalgic Japanese-style old architecture not only gives you a sense of being in a foreign land but also creates an illusion of traveling through time. Located by the timber storage pond in Checheng, Nantou, Incha Steam is a beautiful Japanese-style cottage on the water. This 50-year-old building is surrounded by mountain views and greenery, and reflected beautifully on the lake surface, offering a very relaxing atmosphere.

Incha is not only surrounded by green waters, but also enveloped by the continuous mountain mist of Checheng. The elegant Japanese architecture, paired with the scenic beauty of the seasons, looks just like a painting. The interior features a traditional Japanese-style space with three panoramic windows that offer views of the mountains and lake. In autumn and winter, romantic deciduous trees add to the charm.

The space at Incha is spacious and comfortable, featuring both indoor and outdoor dining areas. It offers a semi-self-service ordering system with options for light meals, hot and cold drinks, and tea snacks. For tea tasting, the shop recommends trying the Taiwan high mountain tea series, which varies based on the fermentation and roasting levels of Qingxin Oolong and Jinxuan. The restaurant also sells various types of tea tins and tea ware.
