Revitalized painted villages can be found all over Taiwan. The Winnie the Pooh Painted Village in Xiaying District, Tainan, as its name suggests, is a painted village themed around Winnie the Pooh. Its color palette draws inspiration from the hues of the beloved bear, transforming a simple and tranquil old village into a vibrant and youthful photo hotspot.

The space was co-created by a group of local young people. Winnie the Pooh and his friends can be spotted in every corner of the village. Not only are there vivid large-scale painted murals, but elements like bus stops and washbasins have also been creatively integrated, adding highlights to the otherwise low-profile traditional houses.
