Orange and pink chrysanthemums sway in the breeze, their delicate and charming appearance making them incredibly cute and photogenic, forming a naturally fresh and beautiful picture. Aside from the snow-white chrysanthemums that can be enjoyed in Miaoli in autumn, spring and summer also bring vibrant chrysanthemum seas in She Tou, Changhua.

Just navigate to Shuang Yi Road, and you’ll find the chrysanthemum fields right next to the level crossing. The explosion of brightly colored blossoms resembles a brilliant floral carpet. The location is adjacent to the railway, and trains pass by quite frequently on weekends, giving off an atmosphere reminiscent of Japanese train routes—but the blooming period lasts less than a week, so flower enthusiasts should hurry.

Taiwanese chrysanthemums come in colors other than white, including yellow and purple, all with pale yellow centers—cheerful and adorable. Vast fields of chrysanthemums look from afar like snow-covered floral carpets, truly breathtaking. Every year from November to December, they bloom abundantly in areas like Tongluo in Miaoli and Wuling Farm.

Recently, many photography enthusiasts have been racing to capture the stunning scenery of trains alongside flower seas before the blooming seasons end, with beautiful scenes evoking the feeling of Japanese railway landscapes, such as the beauty of the flame trees along the railway in Ershui Township, Changhua.

This area is close to the TRA Jiji Line, where you can also often spot the painted Formosan clouded leopard trains passing by, allowing visitors to enjoy scenery comparable to the cherry blossom railways of Alishan without having to go there specifically.
