The Japanese restaurant and bar Zuma, located in Landmark Central, has been selected for the second time as one of the "Asia’s 20 Best Restaurants" by the authoritative dining guide Miele Guide. The newly published 2010/2011 edition of the Miele Guide dining guide (www.mieleguide.com) ranks Zuma at No. 7 among Asia’s 20 Best Restaurants, and as the No. 2 restaurant among the five Hong Kong establishments featured, with the review stating, "Another outstanding restaurant in Hong Kong’s Landmark Central."

Hong Kong's Zuma restaurant has been ranked 7th among Asia’s 20 Best Restaurants.

Zuma is one of the five Hong Kong representatives shortlisted for this year’s Asia’s 20 Best Restaurants. The ranking is based on votes from thousands of independent contributors, with over 100,000 nomination ballots covering restaurants across 18 countries in the region. A panel of renowned food critics and culinary columnists further narrowed down the final 20 from a pool of 914 candidate restaurants.

The Zuma restaurant features a strong Japanese style.

Restaurant partner Rainer Becker said: "We adhere to a philosophy of simplicity, which is to provide our guests with an exceptionally welcoming and enjoyable experience. We offer every customer a warm and friendly dining and entertainment environment where they can gather together and share a vibrant and exciting atmosphere." Rainer Becker introduced his innovative take on Japanese cuisine, Zuma, to Hong Kong in 2007, blending the refined style of a Japanese izakaya with the concept of high-end casual dining and entertainment.
