Whenever passing by the lingerie section in department stores, it’s rare to see male shoppers. But now, retailers are flipping the script with a “Prince’s Night,” open exclusively to men. Shoppers receive a Kavalan whiskey on purchases, and spend NT$1,000 to get NT$200 off instantly. The shopper who spends the most will also win an executive deluxe room voucher at The Regent Taipei and 100 condoms—a truly creative promotion.

Ko Su-yin, general manager of Taipei Q Square, said that this year’s Queen’s Festival at Q Square was met with an enthusiastic response. In particular, a special “Prince’s Night” will be held from 7:00–9:00 PM on April 29 (Friday) in the lingerie section, encouraging men to embrace the idea that “a prince will do anything for his queen.” The event is open only to male Q Card holders in the 2F lingerie area. All purchases come with a bottle of Kavalan Whiskey Soda and a bottle of Kavalan Whiskey Cola. Spend NT$1,000 to get NT$200 off instantly (and so on), and the discounted amount can also be used toward the storewide offer of spend NT$4,000 to get NT$200 more—a double rebate. The scene of only “gentlemen” shopping for lingerie in the lingerie section promises to be quite amusing.

Taipei Q Square is holding a series of events for the “Queen’s Festival” throughout April.
In addition, Taipei Q Square has partnered with The Regent Taipei. The top spender during “Prince’s Night” will receive a one-night stay in an executive deluxe room at The Regent Taipei, allowing the prince to bring the queen to stay in bliss—and an extra 100 condoms as a gift. There will also be a fun “Cup Size Comparison Contest” during the event, with winners receiving a “fun condom.”
