Since its opening for traffic and navigation in late March this year, the nation’s first movable bridge — the “Pengwan Cross-Sea Bridge” — has been conducting regular opening sessions every afternoon at 5 PM on holidays, attracting large numbers of tourists eager for a unique experience. To make these opening shows even more spectacular, the Dapeng Bay Management Office has launched the “Pengwan Cross-Sea Bridge Opening Performance Plan Creative Competition.” The top three creative entries selected will share a prize pool of NT$60,000 and will have the opportunity to create a specially tailored, exciting performance for the “Pengwan Cross-Sea Bridge.”

The Dapeng Bay Management Office stated that to enhance the visual appeal during the 10-minute period when the bridge remains open, they hope to inject artistic elements through the “Pengwan Cross-Sea Bridge Opening Performance Plan Creative Competition.” This initiative aims to gather creative ideas while ensuring the safety of both performers and spectators, turning the Pengwan Cross-Sea Bridge into a performance stage. The submission deadline is 5:30 PM on July 31.
