The Mayday Package Attracts Overseas Fans, One-Stop Travel Saves More

The popular band “Mayday” boasts a huge fan base both in Taiwan and internationally, and whenever there’s a concert, many overseas fans travel long distances to Taiwan for the experience. Businesses promoting concert-themed packages have seized this business opportunity, offering various bundled options for the September 3 Taipei Arena concert, the September 6 “3DNA” movie premiere, and the October 15 Kaohsiung Super Slippery Live concert. These include combinations such as selected hotels plus concert or movie tickets, as well as multi-day fan group packages that include flights, hotels, and tickets. For as low as one-third of the market price, fans can get up close to Mayday.
 

Zhenlv.com, the first to offer one-stop services for flights, hotels, and themed tickets, has previously launched themed packages in regions including Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and Germany. For the Mayday Taipei Arena themed package, there are four options: selected Taipei hotel + concert ticket, or selected Taipei hotel + movie premiere ticket + limited-edition 3D celebrity gift. For travelers departing from Hong Kong, there are two twin-share flight-plus-hotel-plus-ticket packages: flight + selected Taipei hotel for 2 nights + concert ticket, or flight + selected Taipei hotel for 4–5 nights + double tickets for both the concert and the premiere. Sales officially began on August 13, with partner hotels including Silks Place, Just Sleep (Ximending and Linkou branches), Ambassador Hotel, Fullon Hotel (Songjiang branch), Daraii Hotel, and Agfa Business Hotel, among others.
 

The “Kaohsiung Super Slippery Live” concert by Mayday on October 15 will be held at the World Games Main Stadium and is expected to draw 50,000 attendees for a non-stop, six-hour marathon performance — making it the biggest and most energetic rock event in southern Taiwan this second half of the year. The “Kaohsiung Super Slippery Live” themed packages offer a variety of hotel choices, ranging from 3 to 5 stars and accommodating groups from two to four people. Each hotel night rate includes either a NT$1,580 or NT$1,280 concert ticket, and for group bookings on the same order, additional tickets can be purchased. Accommodation options include Silks Place, Tonmao Hotel Group, Lai View Hotel, and Kaohsiung Inn.
