The 10th Anniversary of Travel Service Centers – Vote for the Best Travel Service Staff in the City

When traveling around, what you need most is a tourist information center. The thoughtful and comprehensive consultation services make things much easier for many travelers. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Taipei Railway Station Tourist Service Center, the Taipei City Government Department of Information and Tourism specially held the opening ceremony for the “10th Anniversary of Travel Services • Brand-New iServices,” while also launching a voting campaign for the “Best Travel Service Staff,” stepping into a brand-new decade ahead.

Zhao Xinping from the Taipei City Government Department of Information and Tourism stated that the Taipei Railway Station Tourist Service Center is the first such center established in Taipei City and also the one with the highest number of visitors. To date, the service offerings include “itinerary planning,” “brochures and informational materials,” “provision of travel information,” “tourist attractions,” “transportation and accommodation,” “festival events,” “package tours,” “informational maps,” “personalized consultations,” “tourism books,” “online inquiries,” and “free application service for TPE-Free cards for foreign visitors,” serving nearly 200,000 visitors annually.
 

Currently, there are 12 travel service centers in Taipei City. The total number of visitors to all travel service centers this year has exceeded 1 million. From now until November 30, the “Best Travel Service Staff” voting campaign is underway.
