Romantic golden calla lily fields – no need to go to Yangmingshan, it's free to enjoy!

The annual calla lily season is one of the dream photo opportunities for many female travelers, with its dreamy floral scenes allowing IG users to snap ethereal calla lily photos. The yellow calla lily fields in Waipu, Taichung are currently in full bloom, with the entire field covered in golden calla lilies – a spectacular and romantic sight.

The Waipu calla lily fields are located near Shuitou First and Second Roads at No. 38, Jiayou Road in Waipu, Taichung. There is a yellow calla lily field of about 600 pyeong (approximately 1,980 square meters), and although the flower farmers who grow the yellow callas allow visitors to enjoy the flowers for free, picking the callas is not permitted, so please take note.

The owner of this yellow calla lily field is very generous, offering free access for visitors to walk into the fields to admire and photograph the flowers. However, please be sure to stay on the middle paths or areas with wooden boards laid out, and avoid stepping on the soil where the flowers are planted. Additionally, the landowner also sells bouquets of calla lilies at the parking lot across the way, with each bouquet of five stems priced at NT$100.
