EVA Air Mobile App: Flight check-in now at your fingertips

One of the most headache-inducing aspects for frequent business travelers hopping between countries is airport check-in and boarding procedures. Starting today, EVA Air’s newly launched business mobile app “EVA Mobile” has added “Check-in” and “Itinerary Management” services. Passengers can use their mobile phones to check reservations, select seats, and check in themselves. They can also scan the barcode from their check-in confirmation at the airport check-in counter, KIOSK, or self-service check-in machine (CUSS) to collect their boarding pass. Alternatively, they can send the barcode of their checked-in boarding pass to their personal email and print it out themselves, allowing a seamless journey all the way to the boarding gate—more convenient than ever.

For travelers departing from 23 destinations across Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, mainland China, the Americas, and Europe, not only can they complete the check-in process via EVA Mobile, but the app also offers four main functions: “Flight Information,” “EVA Air Privilege Club,” “Special Fares,” and “Contact Us.” Through EVA Mobile, passengers can check flight schedules, actual arrival and departure times, set up SMS reminders, customize frequently used routes to stay updated on special ticket deals, log in to view their accumulated mileage points and exclusive benefits, or directly contact EVA Air using the “Contact Us” function to quickly find the contact numbers of EVA Air offices worldwide.

 

These services will initially be available for iPhone and iPod Touch. Passengers can search for “EVA AIR” in the App Store to download and install “EVA Mobile” for free. Web versions of EVA Mobile for Android, iPad, and other smartphone operating systems will be rolled out successively.
