The Taipei International Tourism Expo will be held for four consecutive days from this Friday (25th to 28th) at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1. Want to snag deals before summer price hikes? Now’s the time to go! Various travel agencies are also rolling out unbeatable promotions, including Cola Tours’ Hong Kong free-and-easy packages starting from just NT$6,999 (tax included) for three days during the expo, the Macao Tourism Board’s “3D Treasure Hunt – 5-Star Holiday” for NT$10,999 (tax included) for three days, Hwatai Travel’s “Buy One Get One Free” Australia deals, Canaan Travel’s NT$1 bidding event, Shan Fu Travel’s exclusive luxury cruise package on Ocean Voyager starting from NT$20,900, and Lion Travel’s Tokyo 5-day trips from NT$16,888, second person half price for Guanbo, and Sydney cabin clearance 6-day packages starting from NT$29,999 (tax included).

For Taiwan travelers visiting Hong Kong — with up to 2.15 million visitors annually — EVA Air is offering 3-day packages starting from NT$7,999 (tax included), including accommodation at Black Tea House Hotel, plus round-trip Airport Express tickets and a full-day MTR pass. There’s also the “Travel Hong Kong with Stephen Chow” 3-day, 2-night group tour starting from NT$16,800, taking Chow fans to visit famous movie locations such as the Jewel of the Orient seafood restaurant where the “God of Cookery” food competition was filmed, and Temple Street, birthplace of the exploding “sizzling squid ball.” China Airlines is offering 3-day packages starting from NT$8,888 (tax included), with four people sharing a room at the East One Hotel in Kwun Tong. In addition to a round-trip shuttle bus voucher, you’ll also get a round-trip Peak Tram ticket to ride the century-old tram up to Victoria Peak and enjoy one of the world’s top three night views of Victoria Harbour. Even better, if you depart on any of the six Saturdays during the summer vacation — July 7th, 14th, 21st, August 4th, 11th, and 18th — you’ll enjoy the “No Summer Price Hike” deal. Cathay Pacific is offering 3-day packages starting from NT$8,888 (tax included), with accommodation at the Nam Van Sea View Hotel and complimentary upgrade to a harbor-view room with amazing vistas.

This year, the Macao Tourism Board has joined forces with over ten partners to fight price hikes, collectively launching the super-affordable “Macao 3D Treasure Hunt” package, starting from just NT$10,999 (tax included). Customers who purchase the “Macao 3D Treasure Hunt” package at the Macao Tourism Board booth during the travel fair will receive a copy of the “Feel Macao. Moving Moments” travel guide, a transparent flight ticket holder, luggage tags, Macao-themed street sign magnets, and a coupon book worth over NT$2,000 titled “Enjoy Food & Travel Deals”!

During the travel fair, purchase any Yeosu Expo group tour in the Korea Pavilion and redeem a double gift — a “Lotte World Lock&Lock Cup & KOREA PASS Premium Card Holder” — at the Korea Tourism Organization service desk. You can also join the “Head to Yeosu for Big Prizes” lottery hosted by the Korea Tourism Organization. And for today’s grand opening of Tokyo Skytree in Japan, Japan Airlines is offering a guaranteed-entry 3-day, 2-night free-and-easy trip to the hottest new attraction in Tokyo — the Tokyo Skytree Observation Deck — starting from NT$15,200. Other deals include Taipei–Tokyo (Narita route) economy class tickets for just NT$6,888 (before tax), and Tokyo 2-day, 1-night free-and-easy packages starting from NT$8,588 (before tax).

To coincide with the arrival of the travel fair, Lion Travel is shouting the lowest prices nationwide: their Sydney–Blue Mountains 6-day cabin clearance trip, originally starting from NT$35,900 (tax included), is now specially priced from NT$29,999 (tax included), with an additional NT$1,000 discount at the expo. Cola Tours’ Hong Kong packages start from NT$6,999 (tax included), with kids going at half price, and Penghu packages with flights and hotels starting from NT$3,990 for three days. Canaan Travel offers Korea packages starting from NT$9,999, Japan routes with the second person getting NT$5,000 off, plus an extra NT$1,000 discount on-site. And the “Ocean Voyager,” which previously only docked in the Mediterranean, will make its first-ever stops at Keelung Port on August 29th, 31st, and September 5th this year. What used to cost up to NT$150,000 to experience, Shan Fu Travel is now offering for just NT$20,900 starting this year — what a deal!
