Low-carbon tourism is all the rage. In addition to using public transportation to reduce carbon emissions, Kinmen County has launched the “Ancient Ningtou Electric Cart Tour” starting June 10. Participants will be able to see attractions including the Lincao Peace Memorial Park, the Battlefield Loudspeaker Wall, Beishan Settlement, Nanshan Settlement, Shuangli Lake, and the Wind Lion God statues. The entire tour lasts about two hours. Reservations are now open, and during the promotional period, the special ticket price is just 10 yuan.

This Ancient Ningtou Electric Cart Tour lasts approximately two hours. The electric carts come in two sizes: 7-seater and 13-seater, with three of each type, accommodating a total of 60 people. An audio guide service is provided on board. The promotion runs for one year starting June 10, with two daily sessions at 08:30 in the morning and 14:30 in the afternoon. The morning session is open to general visitors at the special price of 10 yuan per person. Tickets must be booked seven days in advance, and visitors need to purchase their tickets at the Tourism Service Center within Lincao Peace Memorial Square 10 minutes before their scheduled ride time. The afternoon session is available to passengers of the Kinmen Sightseeing Bus Battlefield Line (Line B) to Ancient Ningtou, and is free of charge during the promotion period.

The tour itinerary includes planned stops at the Lincao Peace Memorial Park, the Ancient Ningtou Battle History Museum, the Battlefield Loudspeaker Wall, Beishan Seawall, Beishan Settlement (Beishan Command Post, Zhenwei Mansion), Nanshan Settlement (Three-Eye Well, Natural Wetland Center), Shuangli Lake, the Wind Lion God, and the Ancient Dragon Head Shuiwei Pagoda.
