To celebrate its 8th birthday, The Lords Resort in Jiaoxi kicked off the first wave of anniversary celebrations—the “Spring Music Festival”—from April 4 to 6. During the April 4 holiday, it invited the playful Huang Dahai Children’s Theater Troupe, created by the child-loving author Huang Chunming, to entertain children with humorous performances for a joyful Children’s Day. On April 5, in a charitable collaboration with Anka Goddess Performing Arts Workshop—an organization that has been running for 10 years—resort guests received free admission tickets and shuttle service to Yilan Performing Arts Center. Led by instructor Chen Shujuan, the workshop helps many autistic children step out of their shells and rediscover hope through the power of dance. On April 6, guests were invited to enjoy the Rice Paddy Concert, hosted by the Lanyang Cultural and Educational Foundation, and experience the musical charm of Fu Yonghe, principal double bassist of the National Symphony Orchestra. Throughout the April weekends, top domestic and international A Cappella groups took the stage. With spring in full bloom, the whole month was filled with musical feasts. The Lords Resort warmly invites everyone to join in the fun!

Spring is here, and The Lords Resort in Jiaoxi wants to help travelers rediscover nature from the heart. It has invited two top-tier A Cappella groups from home and abroad to present the purest emotions through the most natural sounds and singing styles. On April 13, the acclaimed French A Cappella group OMMM—meaning “spring song”—will perform in Taiwan, blending sensory vocals with electronic music in a powerful rhythm to inspire your creativity and overturn your expectations of A Cappella. On April 20, the renowned local A Cappella ensemble Natural Q Vocal Band will take the night stage, dazzling audiences with their energetic performances and upbeat, popular musical styles!

Besides the “Spring Music Festival,” to celebrate Children’s Day, The Lords Resort also launched the “Lords World Carnival” from April 4 to 7. Try your hand at old-school Taiwanese kids’ games like “chicken, duck, goose” and “sack tossing” to test your wrist agility; challenge yourself as a little sharpshooter with Vietnamese “bamboo toys”; or DIY your own authentic foreign treat with Nicaraguan-style tomato and cheese pastries. There are plenty of other international activities to explore, offering a magical Children’s Day full of cultural fun. Additionally, to mark its anniversary, The Lords Resort is offering a special promotion from April 1 to May 8: buy 30 lunch vouchers and get 5 free.
