The high-speed rail company assisted the Japanese production team of "Billions," starring actress Nanako Matsushima and others, with their filming work in Taiwan in 2012 for a period of four months. Up to a quarter of the film’s scenes were shot at the high-speed rail Tainan Station, Zuoying Station, and on the trains, making these core locations for the entire movie. The film was selected as an official competition entry at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, bringing images of Taiwan High-Speed Rail trains onto the international stage.

The high-speed rail company stated that, starting now, it has set up a display cabinet at Taipei Station and Zuoying Station showcasing the behind-the-scenes filming of "Billions" on the high-speed rail. The cabinet displays signed conductor hats and headrests from actors such as Nanako Matsushima, and plays trailers and behind-the-scenes footage of "Billions," sharing exclusive “high-speed rail only” content with passengers.

At the same time, the high-speed rail company has also collaborated with the "See Taiwan" team to promote the 2013 Golden Horse Award Best Documentary nominee "See Taiwan." It offers high-speed rail passengers early-bird discount coupons for the film "The Beauty of Taiwan," hoping that more people can gain a deeper understanding of this land we live on through this movie, directed by renowned aerial photographer Chi Po-lin, which records the beauty of Taiwan from various perspectives using helicopter aerial shots, and join together in protecting Taiwan.
