With the strongest lineup ever to support Taiwan tourism, TLC Travel & Living Channel and the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications have joined forces for the sixth time on the "Crazy Taiwan" series. The newly produced "Crazy Taiwan All-Stars" features host Janet inviting 10 stars from around the world. Each itinerary is tailor-made by Janet based on the stars' personalities and preferences, taking them through various experiences across the island—from luxury resorts and beach holidays to outdoor adventures, street food, festivals, fashion design, and rural culture. Singaporean food guru Stanley So just finished filming and couldn’t stop raving about how amazing Taiwanese cuisine is, admitting he couldn’t control himself and gained a whole circle of weight. Meanwhile, Angela, who had just landed, received a thoughtful surfboard and bikini prepared by Janet, hinting at their upcoming adventure to conquer Taiwan’s coastline. TLC Travel & Living Channel’s "Crazy Taiwan All-Stars" will premiere across Asia every Thursday at 21:00 starting March 6; in Taiwan, it will premiere every Sunday at 21:00 starting March 9, reaching over 138 million households.

Discovery Asia-Pacific Network's General Manager for North Asia, Lin Dongmin, said, "This ‘Crazy Taiwan All-Stars’ can be called the flagship production of TLC Travel & Living Channel’s 10th anniversary in Taiwan, featuring ten different types of TLC hosts exploring Taiwan in depth with Janet. To allow viewers to enjoy Taiwan’s beauty in high definition, it will also be simulcast on Discovery HD World every Sunday at 21:00 starting March 9."

TLC Travel & Living Channel hosts Angela of "Beach Holidays" and Stanley So of "Food Hunter" also attended the premiere press conference. Janet gifted Angela, who had just arrived in Taiwan for filming, a bikini and surfboard, as she’s about to take the outdoor-loving host diving, horseback riding on the beach, and rope skiing, along with eco-friendly hikes—making Angela exclaim, "I’m ready!" Angela revealed that besides water activities, she’s also very excited about Taiwanese food and might gain a few kilograms before heading home. Speaking of Taiwanese cuisine, food guru Stanley So, under Janet’s arrangement, indulged in local favorites like sausages and rice dumplings. Even after the trip ended, he still couldn’t get enough. Janet proudly noted that the "Singaporean food guru" has perfectly transformed into a "Taiwanese food connoisseur." After filming, Stanley even stayed in Taiwan longer to continue his food journey, showing just how irresistible Taiwanese cuisine is.

Additionally, Janet shared her carefully designed ten "star"-level routes for "Crazy Taiwan," including taking Samantha Brown—who has seen top-tier hotels and unique sights around the world—to experience the so-called world’s longest "concrete slide" — the Yuanshan Tunnel — then trying oyster harvesting and clam digging in Changhua, even joining an oyster farmer’s family to shuck oysters and learn the Taiwanese shucking chant on the spot, making her have a blast, saying, "Taiwan makes me feel like I’ve gone back to being six years old, so relaxed, and the warmth of the people makes me not want to leave!"

Ian Wright braved Ghost Month in Keelung, learning to make water lanterns, and even braved a typhoon to rush to Pingtung for the King Boat Festival. With a packed schedule, he excitedly said, "Halloween abroad is only one day, but Taiwan has a whole month. It’s so much fun!" This traveler, who’s been exploring for over 20 years and has visited Taiwan dozens of times, left with just one phrase before departing: "I’ll Be Back." As for sporty Olly Steeds, who started the journey unfazed, saying, "I’m always up for a challenge," he swam 3.3 kilometers across Sun Moon Lake, tried white-water rafting after a typhoon, biked up to Wuling, and after traveling across Taiwan’s mountains and seas, Olly said Taiwan is definitely in his top three favorite countries. Not just for outdoor sports, but also great for bringing kids along—he’s definitely bringing his wife and children next time.

Foodie Bob Blumer went on a Taiwanese cuisine tour, from attending indigenous traditional festivals and shrimp fishing in Taipei, to becoming the head chef in Tainan for a temple festival banquet, and even incorporating the Taiwanese dishes he tried into his own recipes, creating a surprise meal for Janet, who exclaimed, "This is so wonderful!" Bob also fell in love with Taiwanese mangoes, finding ways to buy them from the market for breakfast every day.

Stylish and beautiful Denise Keller enjoyed Taiwan’s wellness and lifestyle culture, from luxury spas and yacht trips to tribal music concerts blending seamlessly with nature. She was so moved she shed tears and, before leaving, said with reluctance, "I’ve fallen in love with Taiwan." Music enthusiast Jamie Adita learned classic Gezaixi opera pieces, performed on stage, and impressed the teachers with his quick grasp. He also collaborated with Golden Melody-winning band MATZKA for a performance that became a highlight of the trip. First-time visitor Anita Kapoor thought of Taiwan as just a city, but after visiting a Hakka village, learning to make fucai (preserved vegetables), and then heading to Taitung to make clothes from tree bark for a runway show, she realized just how vast and beautiful Taiwan is.

Every experience in the ten episodes of TLC Travel & Living Channel’s "Crazy Taiwan All-Stars" was personally designed by Janet, who tailored each journey to the background and interests of the stars, showcasing Taiwan’s diverse landscapes—majestic mountains, rolling hills and plains, beautiful coasts, and spectacular natural scenery—to leave unforgettable memories for the stars and viewers alike.
