Chou Ching-an also mentioned that when planning how to present Atayal culture with Atayal elders, the elders hoped that the process of building traditional houses, storage barns, assembly halls, and watchtowers using traditional methods would also allow younger members of the tribe to reconnect with and learn about Atayal traditional culture.
