It introduces 26 sushi restaurants in Otaru City, as well as interviews with master craftsmen who helped create the Otaru Sushi Street and the next generation of successors. Travelers can pick up a copy for free at tourist information centers in Otaru City or at hotels in Sapporo City.

Otaru Sushi Hon was initially available at tourist information centers in Otaru City for people to take. Later, it also became available at some hotels in Sapporo City, though quantities are limited.
