On May 25, a 34-meter-tall LEGO tower was erected in Budapest, Hungary. The tower was built by a group of LEGO-loving students and workers at a construction site near Budapest’s main attraction, St. Stephen's Basilica. This LEGO tower also successfully earned a place in the Guinness World Records.

Building this towering structure not only required the use of cranes for lifting, but also had builders scaling great heights to place the topmost blocks. Set against the backdrop of the historic St. Stephen's Basilica, the LEGO tower looks even more majestic and spectacular, quickly becoming a popular new sightseeing spot. The LEGO bricks were sponsored by LEGO itself, which not only helped generate buzz but also brought a fresh new image to Budapest’s urban tourism landscape.
