Rock on, Kaohsiung!! 2014 Da Caihong Music Festival — Group Ticket Giveaway!

Didn’t we agree to head south together? Kaohsiung’s annual music extravaganza “Da Caihong Music Festival” is coming to Pier-2 Art Center on October 4th and 5th. The Kaohsiung City Tourism Bureau is giving back to fans by hosting a “Leave a Comment to Win Da Caihong Music Festival Tickets” campaign on the Kaohsiung Tourism Facebook fan page. A total of 200 one-day passes to the festival will be given away. Everyone is welcome to leave a comment online and gather friends to come to Kaohsiung for non-stop performances by nearly 60 top-tier acts, including A-Mei, Jolin Tsai, and Karen Mok!

For two consecutive days, the Kaohsiung Da Caihong Music Festival draws tens of thousands of people to Pier-2 Art Center every year. Since its inception in 2011, the festival first shined at the Bay Area Pier in Kaohsiung with an attitude of “listening to music × making music.” It featured four stages and 72 hours of non-stop performances by major artists, stunning all of Asia. The following year carried on the rock fever with the theme “What if there were no rock ‘n’ roll, would you still love me?” which turned rock music into a daily passion for tens of thousands of music lovers. In 2013, under the banner “No One Can Take Away My Courage,” eight stages were set up to prove that as long as you love music, there is nothing to fear — no one can take away your courage.

The 2014 Da Caihong Music Festival will kick off with a bang on October 4th and 5th. This year, eight stages will once again be ready, featuring nearly 60 artists from across Asia performing non-stop. All music lovers can fully enjoy a wide variety of mainstream music, rock, and indie performances on the world’s only large-scale stage located in a harbor district!

To give back to its fans, the Kaohsiung City Tourism Bureau has also specially organized a comment-and-win lottery event.From now until September 26th, leave a comment on the “BINGO！BINGO！Da Caihong” event page on the Kaohsiung Tourism Facebook fan page for a chance to win two one-day passes to the Da Caihong Music Festival.This time, there are 100 generous winning spots, with a total of 200 tickets to be given away, inviting everyone to join in the fun at Southern Taiwan’s biggest music event.

Kaohsiung will continue the momentum with the “Cijin Black Sand Rock Festival” and “Wu Bai & China Blue World Tour Concert” in October, the “Sodagreen 10th Anniversary Tour Finale” in November, and the New Year’s Eve parties at Dream Mall and E-Da Theme Park at the end of December — keeping the rock spirit alive and rocking Kaohsiung. The Tourism Bureau reminds everyone to plan their accommodation early so they can not only attend the events but also enjoy a light trip around Kaohsiung.
