The nearly 300-meter-long golden trumpet tree floral path bursts into golden-yellow blooms in March, set against distant green mountains. The golden splendor reflected in the gently flowing water channel resembles an oil painting, utterly enchanting.

Xingquan Channel is a popular spot to admire golden trumpet trees.

The continuous stretch of nearly 300 meters of blooming golden trumpet trees, with their vibrant yellow hues mirrored on the water channel, makes it look like a golden river, complemented by the charming, romantic vibe of the rural path—it has quickly become a trending photo hotspot.

The blooming yellow flowers are reflected in the nearby rice paddies.

Originating from Fuyuan Butterfly Valley, Xingquan Channel was built during the Qing Dynasty's Guangxu era and boasts a long history of over a century. Later managed by Taiwan Sugar, golden trumpet trees were planted along both sides of the channel. Every March when the flowers bloom, they form a golden river, with the yellow blooms mirrored in the adjacent rice fields, attracting many visitors to enjoy the floral spectacle.

Golden trumpet trees bloom every spring in March.

The golden trumpet trees of Xingquan Channel are located to the left after turning at the southbound intersection of Highway 9. It’s also recommended to visit the nearby Danongdafu Plain Forest Park.
