Waiting for the train at the MRT platform is no longer boring. Following the launch of the mobile art gallery train on the Songshan Line, platforms at Taipei’s Zhongxiao Fuxing, Shiquan, and Yuanshan stations now feature humorous works by internet illustrators with millions of fans — such as Duncan, ByeByeChiuChiu, and Nine-Year-Old Lost — turning the spaces into mini art exhibitions!

Organized by the Taipei City Tourism and Communications Bureau, the “Mobile Art Gallery” event not only features the inaugural painted train on the Songshan Line, but has also invited several well-known artists to create works on MRT platform screen doors. With nearly 2.5 million online followers, illustrator Duncan has created the “Taipei Everyday Thoughts” platform at Zhongxiao Fuxing Station, bringing to life the unspoken thoughts and voices of everyday Taipei citizens and events.
