International fast fashion brands have been expanding their presence in Taiwan. The highly anticipated H&M, after confirming its store opening schedule in Taiwan last year, has drawn significant attention and excitement from consumers. Beyond the brand’s appeal and long-term marketing impact that have sparked ongoing discussion, the opening day promotions also garnered consumer interest. H&M prepared limited-edition queue gifts for customers. The first person in line received an H&M product voucher worth NT$8,000, while the first 300 people could get a product voucher card worth NT$500 each. Additionally, 2,000 limited-edition shopping bags were given out as surprise gifts in a lucky bag concept.

This year, in addition to H&M setting up shop in Taipei, another international fast fashion brand, Forever 21, also opened at ATT4FUN in May 2015. Coupled with existing brands like ZARA and GAP, the range of international brand shopping options in Taipei’s Xinyi District has significantly expanded.
