The annual Taipei Rhododendron Season begins on White Day, March 14. Taipei’s mascot, Brownie the Bear, takes center stage, and there’s an extra surprise as Hello Kitty comes all the way from Japan to join in. It’s quite a delightful surprise. Brownie has invited Hello Kitty to make a spring date at the Taipei Rhododendron Season, making it a great spot for photos and check-ins.

The Rhododendron Season Carnival is held at Da’an Forest Park in Taipei. Not only does Brownie the Bear make an appearance, but the immensely popular star Hello Kitty, loved by both kids and adults, is also there. Visitors can enjoy the flowers in the park and have a delightful spring picnic with these two iconic characters.

During the Rhododendron Season, a series of events will be launched. Travelers can make plans with family, friends, or lovers to enjoy the blooms at the Taipei Rhododendron Season. Additionally, during the event period, visitors who complete the posting task on the Taipei Tourism Network have a chance to win a limited-edition Rhododendron Season merchandise voucher.

The 2020 Taipei Rhododendron Season will grandly open on March 14 and continue until April 5. A series of activities including the Rhododendron Music Concert and the Floral Happiness Carnival will be held one after another. Experience the warm and joyful vibes of rhododendrons in the spring season — it's a great choice for relaxation and stress relief.
