Universal Studios Japan’s Minions-themed rooms revealed – early booking info now available!

In 2015, Universal Studios Osaka launched the Minions-themed area “Minion Plaza,” attracting many fans to make a pilgrimage. Subsequently, during various holidays, the park introduced many limited-time Minions events. Meanwhile, “Universal Harbor Hotel,” located next to Universal Studios Japan, celebrated its 10th anniversary by decorating the hotel with a Minions theme starting from summer. From the entrance to the lobby, yellow Minions could be seen everywhere. As 2016 arrived, the hotel took it a step further by introducing Minions-themed rooms, available for online reservation starting January 18, with check-in possible from April!

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Universal Harbor Hotel began decorating the hotel entrance, reception hall, elevators, and other spaces with Minions themes from mid-July 2015. Building on the overwhelming popularity of the Minions, in 2016, the hotel launched Minions-themed suites, where the entire room, walls, and bedsheets are covered with Minions patterns to accompany guests as they sleep. Additionally, guests staying in the Minions suite will receive a limited-edition shopping bag and calendar featuring both the Minions and Universal Harbor Hotel. Online reservations can begin on January 18, 2016, with check-in available as early as April. Fans of the Minions who visit Universal Studios should not only check out the Minions-themed area but also consider spending a night at the Universal Studios Harbor Hotel!
