Located between Mingjian Township and Jiji Town, this 4.5-kilometer-long camphor tree natural landscape features camphor trees planted in 1940. It’s a favorite spot for newlyweds and photography enthusiasts.

Checheng Station is hailed as the most beautiful wooden train station in Taiwan. Built during the Japanese colonial period, it was severely damaged by the 921 Earthquake but was later rebuilt using original timber by the Sun Moon Lake Scenic Area Administration. Even the open space in front of the station is paved with wood, giving it a distinctive character full of Japanese-style charm. It also boasts beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

The Songlongyan Waterfall is located within the Shanlinxi Forest Eco-Resort. It takes about an hour to reach on foot via the forest trail, where you can enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery of Shanlinxi along the way. The Songlongyan Waterfall features a three-tiered landform, and beneath it lies a cave that is 68 meters wide, 25 meters deep, and 30 meters high. Inside the cave, you can find stalactites and swiftlet nests. Standing beneath the waterfall and looking up at the cascading water is an awe-inspiring experience.
