On the morning of February 26, most areas will be mostly cloudy to sunny, with only localized brief showers in the eastern and southeastern regions. The weather will start to change in the afternoon on the 26th!
From the afternoon of the 26th to the 27th, the northeast monsoon will strengthen, bringing slightly cooler weather to the north and northeastern parts; localized brief showers are expected in the eastern half and greater northern regions, with a chance of heavier rainfall in the northeastern area and scattered brief showers in the mountainous regions of the western half. Other areas will be mostly cloudy to sunny.
Starting from the 28th, the northeast monsoon will weaken, with temperatures across Taiwan ranging between 18–22°C. The south will get warmer the further south you go, reaching up to 26°C. Temperatures on the 29th will be about 2–3°C higher overall compared to the 28th. From the 28th to March 1, there will be localized brief showers in the eastern half and northern mountainous areas, while other regions will be mostly cloudy to sunny.
On March 2 and 3, the northeast monsoon will strengthen again, leading to slightly cooler weather in the north and northeastern parts, especially on Tuesday, the 3rd, which will be the coldest with temperatures dropping to around 15°C. Localized brief showers are expected in the northern and eastern regions, while other areas will be mostly cloudy to sunny. From the 26th to the 28th and from March 1 to 2, the western half of Taiwan as well as Kinmen and Matsu may experience localized fog or low clouds affecting visibility. From the 26th to the 28th, there is also a chance of long-period swells along the coasts of the eastern half (including Green Island and Orchid Island) and the Hengchun Peninsula—please stay alert.
