Fridays unveils rainbow-hued Mexican cuisine menu – gradient cocktails that are perfect for IG posts

American chain TGI Fridays has rolled out a new Mexican menu, introducing 11 “Mexican Feast Tex-Mex” dishes between February 25 and April 20. The promotion also includes three special events: spontaneous Tequila Dance performances, card games, and weekend-exclusive DIY Day of the Dead masks. It’s a feast for the taste buds and the camera, capturing the vibrant and joyful spirit of Mexico.

In collaboration with the Mexican Cultural Office, TGI Fridays presents one of the world’s top five cuisines—renowned for its use of natural seasonings and vivid, colorful plating. Available across all Taiwan branches, the promotion features seven new exclusive dishes and four specialty drinks. These blend classic American fare with authentic Mexican ingredients to create a unique fusion experience.

New dishes include Mexico’s national favorite “Rainbow Sauce with Tortilla Chips,” a colorful sauce made with nine ingredients including Mexican beef sauce, onions, black olives, and guacamole. Another highlight is “Grilled Salmon Tex-Mex Rice,” which pairs jasmine rice with grilled salmon, black beans, corn, tomatoes, avocado, and crumbled bacon.

Other offerings include TGI Fridays classics such as “Tequila BBQ Pork Ribs,” “Margarita Quesadilla,” “Crispy Cheese Beef Rolls,” “Carnival Chicken Salad,” and “Spicy Cheese Chicken Enchiladas.” The new dishes embody the three highlights of the Mexican Feast: vibrant colors, upgraded classics, and rich textures.

Another highlight of this collaboration is four original Mexican-inspired cocktails, crafted with ingredients like cactus juice, tequila, and marigold. These vibrant drinks come in uniquely designed glasses that instantly catch the eye. Among them is a revamped version of the classic Mexican drink “Sunshine Agua Fresca,” which is sweet, refreshing, and lightly fragrant with rice.
