Explosive bloom of yaezakura cherry blossoms in full glory—kick off the pink romantic cherry blossom season!

The once-a-year Yangmingshan Flower Festival kicked off on February 15th this year, themed “Cherry Blossoms Just for You,” and will continue blooming until March 22nd.

Currently, the early-blooming mountain cherries and winter cherries on Yangmingshan are gradually sprouting green leaves. In recent days, you can see the mountain cherry blossoms and yaezakura gradually coming into full bloom, while the azaleas in Yangmingshan Park have also bloomed ahead of schedule, creating an absolutely stunning view!

The absolutely beautiful yaezakura on Yangmingshan mainly bloom around the Second Parking Lot and the Flower Clock area. Soon after, the Showa cherry and Yoshino cherry enter their peak bloom periods. The Showa cherry is primarily distributed around the fountain in Yangmingshan Park, while the Yoshino cherry can be found near the Visitor Center and along both sides of Section 1 of Hushan Road, where romantic clouds of pink blossoms appear every year.

Not only that, to ensure smooth traffic, traffic control on Yangmingshan has been in place since February 15th. The uphill control period is from 07:00 to 16:00, with control points at the head of Fuxing Bridge and the entrance of Lane 1, Section 2, Zhishan Road.
