Countdown with Xiao Xiu to the Global New Year's Party – 26 Hours of Unlimited Rides

In just a little while, 2017 will once again be coming to an end, and many tourists have already started planning their New Year's getaway. This year, Universal Studios Japan has specially launched the “Universal New Year’s Party 2018,” which kicks off at 7:00 PM on December 31 and continues until 2:00 AM on January 1, 2018. In addition to a grand fireworks display and popular performances on the outdoor stage, there will also be stunning light and sound effects along with a lively celebration featuring the Minions.

Additionally, Universal Studios Japan will stay open all night from 7:00 PM on December 31 to 9:00 PM on January 1, allowing visitors to ring in the new year with the Minions as the year comes to a close. Tickets are now officially available for pre-order. This year’s New Year celebration also features special events, including the Minions Crazy Ride, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Flight of the Hippogriff, Hollywood Dream – The Ride, and Spider-Man The Ride 4K3D—all of the park’s most popular attractions can be ridden unlimited times within those 26 hours.

Please also note that admission to the Universal New Year’s Party is limited to those who purchase a “Party Admission Ticket.” Visitors who do not participate in the Universal New Year’s Party 2018 can still enter the park with regular admission tickets starting at 2:00 AM on January 1, 2018, and enjoy the night through to the break of dawn, welcoming the first sunrise of the new year at Universal Studios.
