At the most beautiful time of the cherry blossom season, cherry blossoms across Taiwan are gradually blooming. Among them, the cherry blossoms in Alishan are one of Taiwan’s famous cherry blossom viewing spots. In addition to cherry blossoms, there is also a hidden all-white tree sea secret spot within Alishan Forest Recreation Area. While enjoying the cherry blossoms, travelers should not miss this limited-time scenic beauty.

While the cherry blossom season is in full swing, the white magnolia in Alishan has quietly begun to bloom. Pinkish-white hues cover the pathways and hillsides, creating stunning and delicate white surprises.

The area with the highest concentration of white magnolia is the magnolia garden between Sister Ponds and Shouzhen Temple, followed by Zhapingshan Park and the Alpine Botanical Garden. Travelers planning to visit Alishan soon may want to keep an eye out for it.

The magnolia garden has been upgraded with extended wooden boardwalks. Travelers can not only enjoy the beautiful white magnolia, but also relax around the newly added tranquil pond. From a distance, it looks like a clear eye nestled in the forest, hence the name “Alishan Eye.”

The magnolia planting area here is the largest in the country. When the flowering season arrives, magnolia, azaleas, and hydrangeas bloom in succession, creating a dreamlike and enchanting view.
