Taiwan’s cherry blossoms are in full bloom across the island, and the stunning pink blossoms make for an essential romantic spring photo. Along Qingshan Road in Sanzhi District, New Taipei City, mountain cherries, double-flowered cherries, and Yoshino cherries bloom in succession every spring. The season is now at its peak, with tens of thousands of pink cherry blossoms forming a breathtaking cherry blossom avenue.

Spring is the best time to admire cherry blossoms. Along Qingshan Road and Dahhu Road in Sanzhi, cherry trees line the roads like a tunnel, their pink blooms framing the winding country lanes. On clear days, when viewed from a high vantage point, you can even see ships passing by at sea, taking in the entire scenery of the North Coast.

From Jimugong to Wujiaosong Coffee, the approximately 4-kilometer stretch of Qingshan Road is where cherry trees are planted most densely. With few pedestrians around at ordinary times, the scenery here is especially tranquil—you can freely drive around, and the route includes coffee stops and scenic walking trails. You can also get out of your car to stroll and admire the flowers, making for a very relaxing experience.
