Romantic Pink Cherry Blossom Tunnel – A 14-hectare Secret Sakura Spot Blooming for Lantern Festival

As winter nears its end and spring begins, cherry blossoms across Taiwan start to bloom. The “Flower Production and Leisure Park,” located at the border between Wuri in Taichung and Fenyuan in Changhua, attracts many visitors every Lunar New Year to admire the flowers. Among them, the park’s cherry blossom tunnel is especially eye-catching.

This Fenyuan Flower Production and Leisure Park covers a total area of 14 hectares and is a private cherry blossom garden. The park features a diverse horticultural nursery with 300,000 plants and over 50 varieties of cherry blossoms. It also includes several scenic spots such as pavilions, traditional old wells, waterwheels, and ponds that add charm to the area.

The park’s management has even cultivated a new variety of cherry blossom by crossbreeding Taiwan cherry and Yoshino cherry, resulting in the “Zhoubu Weeping Cherry.” With its naturally drooping branches and soft pink blooms densely covered in flowers, the romantic cherry blossom tunnel is intertwined with Zhoubu Weeping Cherry, creating a stunning corridor of full-bloomed pink blossoms.
