The Blue Highway on Dadu Mountain is a beautiful road well known to the people of Taichung. Stretching over 3 kilometers along Huana Road on the southwestern slope of Dadu, the undulating mountain road lights up with sapphire-colored streetlamps that seem to guide riders toward a sea of urban stars, casting a uniquely atmospheric glow over the highway’s night view.

The Daking Scenic Area in Beitun is a key leisure destination for Taichung residents to go hiking and enjoy nature on holidays. With 12 hiking trails, Daking No. 9 Trail features shaded paths, a tranquil environment, and gentle slopes suitable for all ages. It also boasts a wide view, allowing you to see the urban scenery of the 11th Redevelopment Zone. Additionally, there are legacy ammunition depots from the Japanese colonial period and the Dali River. At the entrance is the 921 Earthquake Park.
