For this collaboration, Buyitang and Nourui Tea Pavilion specially selected pesticide-free, premium-grade Uji matcha from Japan’s top-producing region. Following the traditional methods of the old tea house, they insisted on using over ten meticulous steps of traditional shaded steaming and processing to create a product of fine quality. Blended with the unique floral aroma of Taiwanese Four Seasons Spring tea, the light green tea broth is refined and full of character. On the palate, you first taste the sweet flavor of the Taiwanese Four Seasons Spring tea, followed by the lingering, slightly bitter richness unique to matcha. The distinctive qualities of both teas merge seamlessly, creating a richly layered and incredibly delightful taste. Thus was born “Northern Green Matcha.”

In addition to the blended tea, the tea snacks have also been innovatively crafted by selecting classic Taiwanese-style tea confections. Made from finely processed Taiwanese rice, these snacks are free from preservatives, artificial colors, and flavorings. They offer a refreshing new taste experience — the aroma of rice and nuts, along with a crisp texture and a lingering tea aftertaste that grows more satisfying with every bite.

The classic product “Buyitang Oolong Rice Fragrance Cake” is a tea-infused rice cracker made with Taiwanese black rice and Dongding tea, enhanced with pumpkin seeds and almond slices.
