This year marks the 15th anniversary of the opening of Roppongi Hills and the fifth edition of the “TV Asahi × Roppongi Hills Summer Festival SUMMER STATION.” From July 14 (Sat) to August 26 (Sun) 2018, a series of summer festival events are held throughout Roppongi.

This year’s theme is “Summer Magic,” collaborating with the entire street. The Roppongi Hills area has been transformed into a limited-time summer “Doraemon 66 Plaza,” where variously designed Doraemons line up, each holding different props. Dozens of life-sized Doraemons gathered together create an incredibly heartwarming scene.

In addition to the super-sized, life-sized Doraemons at 66 Plaza, there are also food and music events, AR experiences, photo spots, exhibitions, live singer performances, and anime-themed meals — offering all kinds of “magical” experiences. A rich array of entertaining content comes together in one place.

Meanwhile, there’s also the Roppongi Hills Bon Odori dance event. The host teaches the dance steps in both Japanese and English, and the audience joins in the interactive dancing around the “stage” in the Roppongi Hills Arena — it’s a lot of fun and very lively. You can also enjoy food from the dining outlets and festival stalls within Roppongi Hills, immersing yourself in Japan’s unique “festival” atmosphere.
