The highly anticipated Taipei Nan Shan Plaza, the second tallest building in Taipei City, was completed and opened on June 11, 2018. Many office floors have already been occupied by businesses, but the shopping mall section “Breeze Nan Shan” is set to open by the end of December.

Located in Xinyi District, a prime food and retail hub, Breeze Nan Shan has carefully curated its tenant mix. In addition to previously announced global brands such as Blue Bottle Coffee and New York’s top-ranked burger chain Shake Shack, the mall will feature over 45 exclusive outlets, all vying for dominance in the food scene. Another ambitious goal is to create Asia’s largest supermarket.

Breeze Nan Shan will occupy floors B2 to 7F, housing brands in categories including luxury goods, fashion, cosmetics, supermarkets, and F&B. The food and beverage sector will account for as much as 35% of the space, generating around 3,000 job opportunities.

The nighttime exterior of Taipei Nan Shan Building also presents a stylish and glamorous vibe.

Floors 2 to 4 will house atré, a shopping mall operated by Japan’s JR East Japan Railway Group, featuring Japanese goods and fashion items. Floors 6 to 7 will feature a 5D flight theater jointly introduced by Breeze and the IntelliWing Group. Floors 46 to 48 are planned as high-floor restaurants with scenic views. Floor 46 will be home to UKAI Teppanyaki, the same brand that served former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe when he hosted U.S. President Donald Trump — it already has a presence in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, introduced by the Royal Alliance Group, and targets the premium dining market.
