The Japan Meteorological Agency has issued warnings. Typhoon Jebi is expected to make landfall on the Kii Peninsula and continue moving northward to strike northern and eastern Japan on the 5th, bringing strong winds and heavy rain. The agency urges people to minimize outdoor activities during the typhoon period.
EVA Air and Tigerair Taiwan have announced changes to multiple flights to and from Japan on September 4.
EVA Air has canceled the following flights:
Taipei ↔ Komatsu BR158, BR157.
Taipei ↔ Osaka BR178, BR177, BR132, BR131, BR130, BR129.
Kaohsiung ↔ Osaka BR182, BR181.
Tigerair Taiwan:
IT231 Naha (Okinawa) – Taoyuan, IT212 Taoyuan – Kansai (Osaka), IT213 Kansai (Osaka) – Taoyuan delayed.
Tigerair Taiwan has also advanced the departure times of 12 other flights.

Due to the influence of the outer circulation of the typhoon, there are high swells in the northern, eastern, Hengchun Peninsula, and Matsu coastal areas. Ships sailing or operating near the Ryukyu Islands should also pay extra attention to safety.
