Opened in July 2018, Taichung Tai Yee Loy Regent Travelodge combines the concepts of a hotel and an art museum. The 12-story hotel building houses 170 exquisitely designed and comfortable guest rooms, art exhibition spaces, and an Italian restaurant. With a "gallery" concept guiding the overall spatial design, the clean white color scheme is accented by black iron light fixtures that define various visual lines, establishing multifunctional aesthetic zones across the lobby, guest rooms, restaurant, and corridors.

Beyond that, the hotel utilizes its resources to break through architectural spatial boundaries. Leveraging the artistic and local cultural characteristics of nearby Caotun Boulevard, it hosts various themed exhibitions and events, bringing together diverse artists and designers to create a dynamic hub of artistic energy—showcasing the limitless creativity and imagination of Taichung.
